Everyday, Styled
Ready to wear. Made one at a time.
This is the everyday side of Magical Graphic. Not painted. Not burned. Curated.
Here's how it works: I find a hat I love. Corduroy, distressed cotton, black lace — something with personality. Then I sit down at the bench with my beads, pearls, chip stones, charms, and I make a chain that belongs on that specific hat. Not a chain from a rack — a chain I put together bead by bead, matching the color of the cap, the mood of the patch, the feeling I want the finished piece to have.
Then I pair the two. Sometimes a patch too — Stay Wild, Lake Time, a guitar, a disco cowgirl. Sometimes just the chain when the hat is already saying enough.
Each one is one of a kind. When it's gone, it's gone. I don't make duplicates of these either — the beads I use are what I have at home, and once a specific mix is used up on one hat, I move on to the next combination.
What makes these different from the painted line
The Burned & Painted line is four to five hours of hand-painted work on suede caps that were laser-burned first. Those are wearable art. They start at $110 and each one has its own journal story.
The Everyday, Styled line is styled, not painted. I chose the hat, I made the chain, I paired the patch. The value is in the curation and the handmade chain — not in hours of paint. That's why these are $35-40 instead of $110+. Same maker, same care, different lane.
The chains
Every chain is made by me at the bench. Freshwater-style pearls, chip stones (turquoise, mother of pearl, agate), Czech beads, gold and silver findings, charms I pick one at a time. Each chain is cut and knotted to the specific hat it belongs to.
The chains can be removed if you ever want to wear the hat plain, or move the chain to another hat you own. But they're made to sit exactly where I put them.
Fit and care
Most of these are standard adjustable caps — one size fits most. A few are unstructured (soft crown), a few are structured — each product page tells you which.
Spot clean only. Don't machine wash. If you want to wash the cap, take the chain off first (it slides off through the back adjuster). The chain itself is fine as long as you don't submerge it — wipe with a soft cloth.
